David M Morgan


Morgan has owned 18 businesses in 3 countries over 45 years as a life-long serial entrepreneur, primarily in communications-related industries (printing/publishing, cable television, broadcasting, bookstores). Between ventures, Morgan has been a bartender in the Caribbean, a merchant seaman in the Mediterranean, a Yellow Page salesman in the Midwest U.S., the chief financial officer for an ocean-going cargo firm, a copy editor at the San Juan (Puerto Rico) Star, and dog race betting cashier.
Morgan has traveled, as a private citizen and at his own expense, to more than 30 countries and 38 of the U.S. states.
Morgan has participated in more than 500 court actions with early experience primarily related to business/money disputes but in the last decade more often involved in arguments over civil rights and other constitutional matters.
Morgan has made more public records requests, and made REALLY PUBLIC, more local government documents than anyone in the 100-year history of the county.
Morgan is a member of IRE – Investigative Reporters & Editors.
Morgan is a founder of the Cochise County Institute for FREEDOM & JUSTICE
